Project Soarer

This is our very own project car, well, in fact it's my own project car. After my former HKS built Toyota Chaser was kindly destroyed by a *"%^ in an Audi I wanted to build something more track ready and drift capable. The original plan was to strip all the parts from the Chaser and fit it all to a Soarer that I had bought previously to use as a budget skid car anyway but as time progressed the option came up of a factory manual Soarer that had been sat on my friends driveway for little over 2 years and was looking very sorry for itself....£2,000 lighter the Soarer was libberated from its driveway outside Swindon and was destined for its new home in a lovely (cold!) workshop. I will now let you digest the photos of the build so far and give you a quick tech spec of the car after.

Engine spec is 1JZ-GTE standard bottom end, Polished and ported head, matched gaskets, Titan motorsport cams, JUN Pulleys, Greddy T78 turbo, 800cc SARD Injectors, ViPEC V88 ECU with flat shift, launch control and anti lag!

Underneath the car has been gone through completely, All bushes have been polybushed loads of Formula Ikeya arms, TRD 2 way diff and loads of other little touches to boot.

Dyno shots

Well, This is going to be an ongoing post of a few shots of cars that we have had on the dyno over time, I will try as much as I can to post up figures along with the pictures.

Kicking it off is our very own Nissan Skyline R34 GTR not fully mapped yet but making a healthy 580bhp so far....

Next up is our very own Honda Civic Jordan

Next up is Dan's Pulsar for some major map work!

And my bargain basement Honda Civic 1.7cdti, made 101 brake before and 120 brake after the remap!

Next up is Simons Civic EP3, We had the car in and have fitted a Jackson racing supercharger kit and Hondata K-Pro ECU

Amo's NSX build

Ok so going back god knows how many years ago now Steve sourced a Honda NSX for one of our customers. This was no ordinary NSX but infact the very one built by a tuning company in Japan called Trial. The car first started out life with a standard 3 litre V6 engine but along the way Amo fitted a supercharger kit taking the power output up by quite a margin but and there isd a big but this was not enough...The result is now engine has been fuly built and taken out to over 3.2 litres and had all internal components rebuilt and replaced to accept the T67 turbo kit which is now going on!Unfortunatley we do not have the full build pictures but here is a little taster of what has been going on so far!

The gaffa tape is to keep the dust out of the turbo by the way, it doesn't support the turbo!
